- Bailey Bass is a creative and advocate. As a proud New York native from Gravesend, Brooklyn, Bailey confidently uses her story as a Black and Belarusian woman as fuel for her creative ventures and as inspiration to empower others. An actress by trade, working since she was 2, Bailey was enamored by storytelling at a young age. Booking the role of Tsireya in James Cameron’s Avatar franchise at 13 was a key milestone in her blossoming career. Avatar: The Way of Water went on to be the 3rd highest-grossing film of all time. Bailey went on to play Claudia in Season 1 of AMC’s Interview with the Vampire, delivering a widely acclaimed performance. This positioned Bailey, at 19, to leverage her career and start making an impact. She collaborated with AMC to launch her slow-fashion jewelry company, BaiBai Jewelry, selling out the first drop in 3 weeks. Bailey further used this momentum to promote environmentalism, mental health, and voting education. Producing Oceans on Fire (2024), a documentary short on the coral bleaching crisis, participating in the U.N. World Food Program’s Next Gen Council, and working with Kerry Washington's movement of Influence Change is one of her many activist efforts. In 2024, at 21, elevating her knowledge to meet her expertise as an actress, Bailey enrolled in Columbia University. While balancing her entertainment endeavors, including the Avatar: Fire and Ash release, she is a research assistant pursuing a degree in Psychology. Bailey’s evolving career is thanks to her ruthless perseverance and curiosity. She is currently focusing on developing an intersection between creativity and activism, keeping an interest in roles that are epic and unique, while developing projects that create meaningful impact.
