Biography

David Byrnes is a partner at Ziffren Brittenham, LLP. He attended UC Berkeley before obtaining his B.A. in Motion Picture/Television at UCLA. After working in various capacities in the music business, David returned to UCLA and obtained his J.D. at UCLA Law School, where he was elected Order of the Coif.

David's practice is concentrated on the representation of a broad spectrum of talent (and genres) in the music business ranging from notable independent artists to globally recognized superstars and includes top-level producers, songwriters, managers and executives. He has also developed an expertise in sales of well-known music assets and catalogs and the representation of iconic estates.

David participates in various charitable causes and has served as Vice President of the Santa Monica United Futbol Club and currently serves on the Board of Creative Community For Peace. David and his wife, Sigal, have three children, Jacob, Daniel and Talia.
