Biography

Maxwell Heesch (b. 7/26/1987) is a filmmaker who graduated from Minnesota State University Moorhead in 2010, where he majored in film studies with an emphasis in production. Heesch was raised in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and began loving film at an early age. He hopes one day to work in the commercial film industry. He produces his movies under the banner of Land of Nineteen Films. Many of his influences come from popular filmmakers of the day, including Steven Spielberg, Kevin Smith, James Cameron, Quentin Tarantino and Frank Darabont, as well as many others. Heesch is also an avid fan of the works of Stephen King, and one day hopes to complete an adaptation of one of his books. Heesch's current passions lie in the realm of editing and writing.
