Daughter of Tony Award-winning television, film, and stage actress Ann Wedgeworth and acting teacher-director Ernest Martin.

Her first name is really Diánna, the acute accent added due to her father's Ernest Martin Spanish-Puerto Rican heritage and her mother's Ann Wedgeworth enjoyment of naming her daughters after mythological characters. Her full name is Diánna Juanita Elizabeth Martin (middle names after biological grandmothers).

She followed in her parents' footsteps: she is an actress, but she is also an acting teacher and director.

Half-sister of Danae Torn, who is the daughter of Ann Wedgeworth and her first husband, Rip Torn.

Diánna has worked on stage and film as an actress and director, and used to host, produce, and direct and be a reporter-writer for television programing in St. Louis. Missouri. She also worked a disc jockey for over four years; music is one of her favorite passions.
