Paco Santamaría studied art and design. His
artistic career starts with photography. He then uses his photography
knowledge to create 3D images. After some years, though, he discovers
the importance of materials and starts making sculptures. In 1996 he
develops the Pacotime Collection of conceptual watches with which he is
internationally known. In 2001, he is invited by filmmaker Eduardo
Chapero-Jackson to participate in his film "Verbo" in order to build
many of the special props that appear on the film. Thanks to this, his
work begins to be recognized and he is a able to continue participating
with his ideas and his crafty work in the film industry, apart from
working in advertising and music videos. After working in Los Angeles in some independent productions, he goes back to Madrid to keep on working in international and Spanish films.
