Pep Figueiredo is an Indian-born content business specialist with a significant career in the digital media industry. He has more than two decades of experience in various fields such as digital, film, television and ad film production. He is known for his work in India, particularly with SonyLIV, where he specialized in creating web series, web shows, branded content and numerous innovations in the digital realm.

Pep has played a key role in developing the digital video content landscape in India, contributing to the growth of platforms like SonyLIV, YouTube, Filmaka, Digiquest, and Culture Machine. He has also served as a jury member for the Emmy Awards and is an international speaker on media and content strategies. Mr. Figueiredo is an author and has written books such as "Evolving Global OTT Landscape," which explores trends and strategies in the global OTT (Over-the-Top) industry. His contributions have been crucial in positioning India's OTT market as a significant player globally. Pep Figueiredo's work has been central to the growth and development of the OTT (Over-the-Top) and digital media landscape in India. He is an industry veteran and proficient in the OTT and new media industries, transitioning from production to media-tech (P2T) developing platforms like JugnuPlay, flexstream Movies, Formats, DigHub (2021-2025) to name a few. Mr. Figueiredo is working on creating a system, that proselytizes content in its democratic form by integrating artificial intelligence, an audience vehemence projection apparatus and big data to derive the kind of story-telling a platform clamors for, Pep is an ex-Sony Pictures powerhouse, with more than a decade of experience, post-graduating from Film School, Pep is also a former award-winning digital filmmaker where he had written & directed 15 short films & 2 amateur music videos in a span of 18 months while still in Film School which went on to earn him loads of accolades worldwide. During this he interned as an Assistant Director with Rajshri Films, was the Director of Photography and Film Editor on various short format films, ad films, documentaries and docu-features.
