Aindrita Ray, born in Udaipur, Rajasthan, is a versatile Indian film actress and model with a successful career primarily focused on Kannada cinema. Her father, A.K. Ray, serves as an Indian Air Force prosthodontist, and her mother is named Sunita Ray. Aindrita completed her schooling at Baldwin Girls High School in Bangalore and pursued her graduation from Mathrusri Ramabai Ambedkar Dental College in the same city.

Aindrita's journey into the entertainment industry began during her academic years when she ventured into modeling and appeared in various television commercials. Motivated by these experiences, she decided to test her luck in the film industry, marking the initiation of her acting career.

In 2008, Aindrita made her debut with the Kannada youth romantic family drama film "Meravanige," portraying the character Nandini. Her early years in the industry saw her feature in films like "Mast Maja Maadi" (2008) and "Junglee" (2009), where she played the role of Padma. The same year, she portrayed Divya in the film "Vayuputra."

A defining moment in Aindrita's career came in 2009 when she starred in the Kannada romantic-psychological movie "Manasaare" as Devika, a character with a mental disability. This critically acclaimed performance earned her accolades and nominations in various categories at Filmfare.

In the subsequent years, Aindrita continued to showcase her acting prowess with films like "Nooru Janmaku" (2010), "Nannavanu" (2010), and "Veera Parampare" (2010). She expanded her horizons with the Hindi thriller "A Flat" (2010), where she portrayed Karan's wife.

In 2011, Aindrita featured in the Kannada romantic-family movie "Manasina" as Sahana, a role in the remake of the Tamil film "Roja Kootam." The same year, she played the character Priya in the film "Dhool." Despite facing a series of flops, she rebounded with a supporting role in the 2011 movie "Paramathma," earning widespread critical acclaim for her portrayal of Saanvi.

Aindrita's filmography includes a diverse range of projects such as "Prem Adda" (2012), "Rajani Kantha," "Ziddi," "Kaddipudi," "Tony," "Athi Aparoopa," "Sharp Shooter," "John Jani Janardhan," "Melkote Manja," and "Main Zaroor Aaunga." Demonstrating her versatility, Aindrita also worked in the web series "The Casino" and "Sanak." Throughout her career, she has not only received numerous awards but has also left an indelible mark on the Kannada film industry with her memorable performances.
