Sofia Kokkali

Sofia Kokkali is a Greek actress trained at the National Theatre Drama School. She has collaborated with directors including Pantelis Voulgaris, Alexander Voulgaris, and Yorgos Zois. Her film credits include Little England (2013), Electra (2014), Thread (2016), Digger (2020), and Hector Malot: The Last Day of the Year (2018), for which she attended the Cannes Film Festival after the short film won Best Short Film. Kokkali has also received the Melina Mercouri Theatre Award and performed in notable stage productions, including Medea under Frank Castorf and Lena Kitsopoulou's Antigone/Lonely Planet.
On television, she has appeared in series such as Kart postal (2021), Milky Way (2023), and Black Paintings (2024), gaining recognition for her nuanced performances. While primarily focused on cinema, Kokkali maintains a strong presence in contemporary Greek theater, earning critical acclaim for both screen and stage work.
