With a do it your self attitude, Aleem not only started his own Film Production Company Know Peace Productions, but also formed a writer coalition, that ultimately would create this feature film masterpiece that the world conscious and unconsciously awaits.
A former Sundance film festival nominee of film Titled (Bilal Stand) (Beyond Blue Prod.)2009. Aleem says "this was the turning point,when I experienced Sundance, me being a rookie, Acting in my first film, landing in one of the biggest film festival in the world, I knew then, any and everything was possible in this arena.
With the Sundance fumes still lingering, Aleem immediately started seeking new roles and opportunities. Although landing a couple of extra roles in some major Productions such as "Being Mary Jane" "Hindsight", and even a speaking role in HBO's Survivors Remorse, there was still a burning desire to accomplish much more in this Goliath industry.
