Biography

Before he discovered acting, Alan Kendall was a martial arts instructor for two years. Having a passion for acting, he decided to try performing on stage. His first role was as the cruel Senator Titus in the play "The Curious Savage". This experience made him realize his calling in life. For the next six years, he performed on stage in multiple theaters throughout New Jersey including two seasons at the NJ Renaissance Festival. By 2008, he made his stage debut in New York City where he also trained partially at HB Studio. Since 2008, he appeared in several student films until he made his feature film debut in the independent film 'The Animal I've Become' (2010), playing opposite of actor Dan Gregory as the character, Hank Kross.

Former student of film actor and director A.C. Weary, husband of television star, Kim Zimmer.

He is a fan of Bruce Lee, Philip Glass, Mahatma Gandhi, Samuel Beckett, Michael Chekhov, William Butler Yeats, and Martin McDonagh.

His favorite stage credit was when he played Heinz in Kean University's 2007 tour production "And Then They Came for Me: Remembering the World of Anne Frank".

Graduated from Arthur L. Johnson High School in 2005. A proud former member of Key Club.

He is a Theatre Education major at Kean University.
