Biography

Dinho was born on March 5, 1971 in Irecê, Bahia, Brazil. He was an actor and composer, known for The Mutants: Ways of the Heart (2008), Ways of the Heart (2007) and Ricos de Amor (2020). He died on March 2, 1996 in São Paulo, São Paulo, Brazil.

Flamboyant lead singer of Mamonas Assassinas. Often appeared onstage dressed as animals or superheroes, or in drag.

Received solo writing credit for three of his band's singles, "Pelados em Santos", "Mundo Animal" and "Bois Don't Cry".

Died three days before his 25th birthday.

Lead singer and principal lyricist of Mamonas Assassinas. The band's breakthrough switch to comedy rock was largely his doing.
