Biography

Jerramy Acker

Mini bio

  • Jerramy Acker, known creatively as Emyris Sajen Bear Cub, is a Utah-based filmmaker, artist, digital storyteller, and self-described book conductor. His work blends fantasy, mystery, philosophy, folklore, humor, and immersive world-building.

He directs each book’s concepts, characters, structure, symbolism, tone, and vision while using artificial intelligence as a collaborative ghostwriting team. Through revision and refinement, he shapes those contributions into a unified work.

His books include Tres Ponchos, The Box, and Weyfendir: The Curse of Vegvisir, with film adaptations of Tres Ponchos and Weyfendir in development.

Acker also created The Hermit’s Gift, a multimedia world at TheHermitsGift connecting books, films, artwork, handcrafted objects, puzzles, treasure hunts, and interactive experiences intended to inspire creativity, curiosity, generosity, and human connection.

His work explores how stories, technology, belief, and imagination can combine into something greater than any one part alone.
