Biography

Probir belongs to the aristocratic "Dutt's of Rambagan' family from Calcutta West Bengal along with Toru Dutt (author of 'A Sheaf Gleaned in French Fields') and Sir Romesh Chunder Dutt (who was Prime Minister of Baroda).

Probir's mother is from Liverpool and was the cousin of George Harrison from the Beatles.

Probir was at drama school in the UK for many years as a child and performed alongside Judie Dench on stage.

Probir spent a few years as a recording artist in England and once shared a recording studio with Steve Hackett (of Genesis) and Steve Howe (of Asia).
