Biography

Chiara Motley is an award-winning producer and actress based in Seattle. Her drama pilot Paradise Lanes won Best TV Pilot at both HollyShorts Film Festival and Big Apple Film Festival in 2025. She produced and starred in the digital series All Souls opposite Michael Potts, which won the Gold Award at DC WebFest and the Audience Award at FlickFair. She also co-produced two acclaimed seasons of The Corps, featured at the American Black Film Festival and Urbanworld.

On stage Chiara has performed with ACT Theatre, Seattle Repertory Theatre, Shakespeare Theatre Company in DC, Baltimore Center Stage, and more. She is a classically trained performer with a B.A. in Drama from Stanford University and an M.F.A. from the National Theatre Conservatory. Beyond film and theatre, she is the producer and co-host of Good Pain, a podcast exploring BDSM and power dynamics through a feminist lens. She serves on the board of Emergence Films, a nonprofit dedicated to advancing underrepresented voices in independent film and television, and is a founding member of Some Folks Productions.
