  • Gene Blalock is a Los Angeles-based feature film director whose work blends character-driven storytelling with stylized, atmospheric worlds. His films explore the fragile boundary between imagination and reality, often following outsiders searching for connection, identity, and strength.

    His directing credits include Seize the Night (2022), released by Glass House Distribution; The Nightmare Gallery (2019), distributed by Gravitas Ventures and starring Amber Benson; and the anthology film The Nighttime World (2025), released by Lionsgate. His documentary Seven Days in Mexico (2020) was distributed by Indie Rights.

    Blalock is the founder of Seraph Films and has directed numerous features, series, and short films across narrative and documentary formats. His work is known for visually expressive lighting, psychological tone, and emotionally driven storytelling.

    (2026) Blalock completed the feature films Keepsake and Development Hell and continues developing new film and television projects through his production company, Seraph Films.
