Gene Blalock is a Los Angeles-based feature film director whose work blends character-driven storytelling with stylized, atmospheric worlds. His films explore the fragile boundary between imagination and reality, often following outsiders searching for connection, identity, and strength.
His directing credits include Seize the Night (2022), released by Glass House Distribution; The Nightmare Gallery (2019), distributed by Gravitas Ventures and starring Amber Benson; and the anthology film The Nighttime World (2025), released by Lionsgate. His documentary Seven Days in Mexico (2020) was distributed by Indie Rights.
