Daniel Baumgartner was personally trained and certified in Steadicam techniques by Garrett Brown, Jerry Holway during the Eastern Classic Steadicam Workshop. Garrett Brown is the Academy Award winning inventor of the Steadicam system. Daniel has been following Steadicam and other film production technologies all of his life. Daniel was noted in school to have set the goal of shooting a music video that will air worldwide on the MTV and BET networks before he turns 30. Daniel accomplished this lofty goal just before he turned 30 years old in the summer of 2009. "Ice Cream Paint Job" by Dorrough, was nominated for Best Hip Hop Video, People's Champ Award, and Rookie of the Year at the BET Awards. Daniel was the steadicam operator for this video as well as the next 7 music videos Dorrough released.

Daniel Baumgartner owns and operates the Steadiseg / Handsfree Transporter Steadicam Hardmount System. He is one of the most experienced Segway Steadicam operators in the USA because of the extensive mileage and time he has logged on the Handsfree system. As of December 2011, Daniel has already clocked over 3100 miles on this unique cinematography system.

Daniel utilized the Steadiseg - Segway Steadicam for the 24th Annual Children's Hospital Holiday Parade. The live national broadcast originated from Dallas, Texas on local ABC affiliate WFAA-TV. Baylor University football spectators enjoyed new incredible game coverage as Daniel operated his Steadiseg Steadicam system for the homecoming parade and game as well as Christmas on the 5th events for Baylor Vision and Fox Sports Southwest. Allen and Plano, Texas television networks have also aired numerous specials including Allen USA 2010 4th of July Celebration with the Commodores and Guitars and Cadillacs on PTN featuring production and event coverage that Daniel was Steadicam and Steadiseg Operator during.
