Following a career in the U.S. Marine Corps as an intelligence officer, counterintelligence officer, judge advocate and military trial judge, Mr. Puckett was an assistant federal public defender before opening his solo law practice in 1999. He Launched the Law Firm of Puckett and Faraj, PC in June 2008 and returned to solo law practice in February 2012. The U.S. Navy appointed Mr. Puckett to serve as a Highly Qualified Expert in Complex and Sexual Assault Litigation for the U.S. Navy Defense Counsel Assistance program in December 2012. He transferred to the position of Investigations Director at the Office of the Naval Inspector General where he served from June 2015 to April 2019.
