Alejandro Jose

Alejandro Jose grew up in the arts, with a painter father and a mother who danced professionally. Born in Santa Fe, he was raised in South America and the U.S. He trained at the London Film School and at a conservatory-style actor training program, gathering experience in screenwriting, stage and film acting, Butoh, dance, combat and dialects. He has written and appeared in short films and acted on the non-professional stage in London and the U.S. Returning to his roots in Santa Fe, he teaches Shakespeare and is involved in a prominent agro-ecology initiative.

He now turns his attention to professional participation in the vibrant New Mexico film community.
