  • Justin A. Martell is an American film producer, writer, and entertainment executive known for his work in independent genre cinema and documentary production. He began his career at independent studio Troma Entertainment, where he worked with filmmaker Lloyd Kaufman and gained experience in low budget film production, development, and distribution.

    Martell later became a producer on the Shudder original series The Last Drive-In with Joe Bob Briggs, contributing to the revival of the long running cult horror host format for a new audience. Through his production company, Not the Funeral Home, he has been involved in the development and production of several independent horror and genre projects. His producing work has included collaborations with companies such as The Asylum, Fangoria, Screambox, and Full Moon Features.

    In addition to his film work, Martell is a writer and archivist. He is the author of Eternal Troubadour: The Improbable Life of Tiny Tim, a biography of musician Tiny Tim, and has participated in archival and restoration projects related to cult film and music history.

    Martell has also worked internationally as Pacific Tours Manager for Young Pioneer Tours, where he has organized and led tours to remote destinations. He has worked as a tour guide in North Korea and has produced travel documentaries and written about his experiences, including commentary on North Korean film and culture.
