Betty Zhou, also known as Lingan Zhou, is a Chinese actress, bilingual anchorwoman, singer, and producer.
Studied acting at Xie Jin Film & Art College of Shanghai Normal University, her pretty appearance and the amazing capacity for language made her stands out and got picked by an overseas talent company before she even graduated.
Betty started her career by playing a complex role as a hitman as well as an undercover prostitute in "The Man with the Iron Fists" starring with Russell Crowe and Lucy Liu. Then played the lead role in a 13 episodes bilingual Singapore television show "Adventure Girls".
2011, Betty was cast in Singapore TV station Mediacorp, play the lead role for a 13 episodes new English sitcom" Payday". She then been invited to attend the first Singapore movie festival "Screen Singapore", along with Ziyi Zhang and Tom Hanks. Meanwhile, Betty is very successful in different fields such as hosting, modeling, and singing. Her big break came when she hosted the Sina "NBA" in 2012, later that year, NBA invited her to report the 2013-2014 NBA Finals. She then started her own show "NBA Inside Stuff". Interview the top-rank basketball players and host NBA events in China.Since 2015, Betty started to do more things that go behind the camera. She started she weekly talk show "Talking to Hollywood with Betty Zhou" on China's biggest film TV channel - CCTV6 as the producer and the host. The celebrities she interviewed include Joseph Gordon-Levitt from "The Walk", Stephen Amell from "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles", Arnold Schwarzenegger, Daniel Craig, Tom Cruise, Rihanna, Dwayne Johnson and much more. 2017, Betty appeared in the blockbuster xXx: Return of Xander Cage starring Vin Diesel, Donnie Yen, Kris Wu and Ruby Rose.
