Biography

Jared was born and raised on Long Island, NY, and received his theater degree from Nassau Community College, Alma mater of fellow Long Islanders Billy Crystal, Eddie Murphy, and Steve Buscemi. He went on to train for two years at HB Studio under legendary acting teacher Uta Hagen.

Jared built a career that included 70+ professional theater credits nationwide, among them the Broadway production of "An Enemy of the People" opposite Roy Dotrice at the Roundabout Theatre, and "Crime on Goat Island" alongside Edie Falco. His first film role was in John Huston’s "Prizzi’s Honor," sharing a scene with idol Jack Nicholson, a scene that ultimately did not make the final cut.

Jared then stepped away from the business for a chapter as a practicing chiropractor before returning to TV and film in 2013 with "Necessary Roughness." He’s thrilled to be back in this crazy, wonderful industry.
