Gillian McIver is a Canadian writer and filmmaker based mainly in London UK. She is also the author of Art History for Filmmakers and Art and the Historical Film both books published by Bloomsbury Press. She has also contributed chapters to Screening the Art World, art History and Scenography, The Palgrave Handbook of the Vampire and Refocus: the Films of Abel Ferrara.
