Shortly after high-school he took every penny he had to travel across the country. He showered at Gold's gym and slept in his car at truck stops and Wal-Mart parking lots.

Holds belts in several styles of Marital Arts including Judo, Jujitsu, Hap Ki Do and Tae Kwon Do.

Was a Professional Wrestler.
