Yarit Dor

Yarit is a Movement Coach, IDC Certified Intimacy Coordinator, SAG-AFTRA Registered Intimacy Coordinator and Bectu Union Level 2 Intimacy Coordinator. She is a leading practitioner being amongst the first intimacy coordinators to work in the UK and EU. Her Film, TV, theatre, musicals and dance extensive experience includes detailed, embodied movement coaching and nuanced intimacy scenes as well as large scale groups with many performers. In 2020 she was nominated for the "Shaker of The Year" Award, BAFTA London and in 2023 was awarded a Fellow of Rose Bruford College for her contribution to intimacy practice in the UK.

In the theatre sector, she originated the 'intimacy director' credit on London West End's Olivier award winning show 'Death of A Salesman' starring Wendell Pierce (The Wire, Treme) and Sharon D. Clarke. Additional credits in intimacy direction and movement direction include theatres such as, West End, The National Theatre, Shakespeare's Globe, Donmar Warehouse, Royal Court Theatre, Young Vic and Bush Theatre amongst others. She has also worked with Rambert Dance Company, Punchdrunk and musical theatre shows such as Hadestown, Hamilton, A Strange Loop, Why Am I So Single, Fiddler on the Roof and The Band's Visit (Olivier Nominated for Best Musical). Her company Moving Body Arts offers training & choreography services to the film & theatre industries.

Yarit is an Associate Movement Tutor of RADA (Royal Academy Of Dramatic Arts) and an Associate Artist of The Shakespeare's Globe Theatre in London. She also teaches for The National Film & Television School and London Film School in the UK.
