George Petrakis was born in Athens of Greece. Since 2006 he is working as a Steadicam operator. He lives in the city of Athens in Greece. His passion for his job led him in 2003, 2004 to the USA (Los Angeles and Philadelphia), where he attended two amazing workshops by Garrett Brown (inventor of Steadicam) and Jerry Holway. He has worked in films, documentaries, commercial spots, Tv -series and music videos. His equipment is set according to the latest technology and he is constantly informed about any new developments in filming.
