Ava Bogle was born in London and raised in Bolinas, California.

Her short film, Meryl Fuckin Streep, won Best Short at SF Indie Fest and Best Experimental Film at Lady Filmmakers Festival.
Her one-woman show, The Pleasure Project, was described as "The love child of The Vagina Monologues and Mars Attacks!" and toured LA, SF, NY, and Australia.
