Biography

Ioanna Petinaraki is a Greek film producer who studied Film Production at the School of Film of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She has worked as a producer on several short films, feature films, and feature-length documentaries, with her projects screened at international festivals including Docs Barcelona, the Thessaloniki Documentary Festival, Sarajevo Talents, and IDFA. From 2012 to 2013, she was involved in the executive production of the Greek-British feature film The Journey (2014), directed by Lance Nielsen, which screened at international festivals including the Saint-Tropez International Film Festival. Her documentary Back to the Top (2018) received support from the Greek Film Centre and won the Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation Audience Award at the Thessaloniki Documentary Festival. Since 2017, she has also worked as a freelance television producer on programs including Votana, karpoi tis gis (2017) and Thryloi ton gipedon (2018). She founded Moving Rooster Productions in Thessaloniki and has also been selected for the ARTWORKS program and the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Artist Fellowship Program.
