Caleb Goddard

Caleb Goddard is a U.S. Diplomat who joined the U.S. State Department as a Foreign Service Officer in 2012. He has worked on various issues such as hostage negotiations, elections, Ebola, consular services, prisoner rights, and more at U.S. embassies in Guinea, Thailand, Pakistan, Brussels and Mauritius. After graduating from Georgetown University in 1992, Caleb had a career in broadcast journalism at CNN, Bloomberg TV, and Yahoo!. He launched CNN's Hong Kong Financial News Bureau, hosted the first live news broadcast on the internet at Yahoo!, and was head of programming for Bloomberg TV Asia. He has a master's degree from the London School of Economics in International Political Economy. Born in Los Angeles, his parents are Hollywood actors and he worked on a few films early in his life. He is married to Karine Pouget. They have two children.
