Uros Zavodnik was born in Slovenia. He studied film art in Austria and finished his study in cooperation with Academy for theatre, radio, film and television (AGRFT) in Ljubljana, Slovenia, with PhD out of film directing and short feature film The Trial. He is also the member of Actor Studio in Ljubljana, where he studies acting technique of Lee Strasberg under the guidance of Janez Vajevec, disciple of Lee Strasberg himself. He works as freelance film director, writer, producer and actor.
