Mike James Gallagher was born in Louisiana, USA. He is an Emmy nominated sound effects editor and sound designer. In 2022 he was an inaugural recipient of Variety Magazine's 10 Artisans to Watch. He is also the creator of the audio education platform INDEPTH Sound Design which uses notable film and television to demonstrate the craft of sound design. He resides in Los Angeles, CA.
