Married in 1902 to Ida Glendower, together being the vaudeville team 'Glendower and Manion.' They were married in Sacramento with Heavyweight champion Bob Fitzsimmons as best man.
He was on the St. Vincent College Football team, All-Southern California fullback in 1901.
