Joshua Rivera is a New York City-born actor, writer, and producer whose journey in the entertainment industry began at just eight years old at The Variety Boys & Girls Club of Queens. What started on the theater stage quickly evolved into a passion for film and television, fueled by a lifelong love of cinema. A graduate of Talent Unlimited High School's prestigious drama program in Manhattan, Rivera further honed his craft as the first-ever recipient of the Johnny Depp Scholarship at The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute, where he trained in Method Acting. Rivera's screen credits include Showtime's Escape at Dannemora and TBS's hit comedy The Last O.G. His work has also extended into the commercial world, including a campaign for Meta Quest. Known for his dedication, versatility, and authentic screen presence, Rivera continues to build a career across film, television, and digital media. Beyond acting, Rivera is the founder of Starseed Productions, an independent production company dedicated to developing original stories for film and television. As a writer and producer, he is committed to creating compelling, character-driven projects while championing new creative opportunities both in front of and behind the camera.
