Khalid Khurshid

Khalid Khurshid also known as K. Khurshid was a renowned film director of Pakistan.He made many super-hit films in the 1960s,1970s and 1980s including Yamla Jatt (1969) and Shola Aur Shabnam (1967).He was a personal friend of film producer and director Ataullah Hashmi and produced some films together with him.Then he worked as an assistant director with him on some films.He first migrated from India to Pakistan in 1965 and finished his Masters of Science degree in Lahore,Pakistan.First he tried his hand at film journalism for a while before he decided to become a film director and started working in the film industry.He made a total of 8 films before he finally passed away in the late 1980s.
