Whilst studying a Product Design Degree in university, he was keen to help out friends and continues to work on film pieces, including short documentary York 800 which he acted as Editor and Second-Assistant Director (the documentary made it on to BBC Yorkshire news throughout York, Leeds, Sheffield and Bradford).
