Elise was born in Asheville, North Carolina and grew up the middle of
three children. She had a love of performing from a very young age,
first performing as a lead on the community theater stage of Decatur,
Alabama at the age of 11.
Elise studied acting in New York City at the Ted Bardy Studio, a Meisner Based Conservatory style school. To round out her education, she also completed classes in Movement and auditioning, and studied Dialects with Gordon Jacoby before relocating to Los Angeles in 2010.
