Tamer boasts a remarkable 30-year career in the film industry. His journey began in 1996, encompassing diverse roles in casting, production, and directing. Tamer's passion for CGI and VFX fueled his desire to delve deeper into this field.
In 2002, after leading numerous CGI and VFX projects, Tamer established Aroma Studios. Under his leadership, Aroma Studios has become a recognized leader in the Middle East, renowned for its VFX and post-production expertise. Today, it serves as a creative hub garnering international acclaim.
Tamer's dedication went beyond technological innovation. He meticulously built Aroma's VFX and CGI departments, fostering the careers of countless artists in the regional VFX and post-production industry. His hands-on approach saw him excel as a 3D artist, compositor, colorist, and editor, solidifying his reputation as a leading VFX supervisor within a short period.
Leveraging his vast experience on set, Tamer successfully directed TV commercials heavily reliant on VFX. He has also directed several acclaimed mega documentaries.
Aroma Studios' foray into content production began in 2014 under Tamer's guidance. Since then, the studio has produced over 40 TV shows, many of them award-winning and garnering significant recognition across the Middle East. Their American television show, released in 2020, marked a significant milestone.
2024 witnessed Aroma studios production of two dream projects capitalizing on Aroma's vast VFX expertise: "Sukkar," a captivating two-part musical feature film, and "Gawdar," a highly-regarded TV show based on Arabiann Nights tales.
