Biography

Terdsak Janpan is a Thai composer known for his dynamic scores across feature films and television series, with over 100 feature films to his credit. His career began in 2006 with the Thai horror film Dorm (2006). In 2008, his work on the acclaimed action film Ong Bak 2 (2008) brought him international attention, followed by a collaboration with Jay Chou on the Taiwanese film Secret (2007). Since then, he has become one of the most sought-after composers in the Thai entertainment industry.

With recent works including Death Whisperer 2 (2024), Khun Pan 3 (2023) (for which he received a Thailand National Film Association Award nomination), and popular series like Midnight Museum (2023), KinnPorsche: The Series La 'forte (2022), and In Family We Trust (2018), he continues to create impactful and memorable scores.

When it comes to custom composing, Terdsak approaches each project with a clean slate, gradually shaping the music based on the director's vision, the essence of the story, and the target audience. While initial ideas often come to mind instinctively, he allows room for change during the creative process, enabling new ideas to emerge. He believes that music should perfectly align with the project's emotions and storytelling needs, which he finds most inspiring through the visuals of the film and the passion of the director.
