- Merry Colomer got her B.A. degree in Communication at the University of Seville. She started working as a production manager in TV, in shows such as Caiga Quien Caiga and Cuarto Milenio.
In 2009, she decided to complete her education in film and thanks to a scholarship, she moves to the US -first to New York and then to Los Angeles-, where she graduated on an MFA in Film Production (NYFA). During that period, she produced the documentary Orensanz (Rocío Mesa) and she works both in independent (Lost on Purpose) and big blockbuster films (The Amazing Spider-Man).
In 2014, Merry joins the Morena Films team, working as an Associate Producer along with the producer Juan Gordon. Some of the productions she has worked during this time are To Steal from a Thief (Daniel Calparosoro), The Olive Tree and Yuli (both by Iciar Bollain), Sidetracked (Alvaro Fernández Armero) and Submergence (Wim Wenders).
In 2018 Merry started to develop her own projects as a solo producer within Morena Films. Advantages of Travelling by Train (selected at the Berlinale co-production market 2018), directed by Aritz Moreno will be shoot in October 2018 and it will be is her first feature film as a producer in Morena.
