Biography

Marcella Rodriguez dreamt of becoming a Broadway actress and singer at the age of 9. Her zest for life and love for people, had always been her driving force to entertain her family and friends during holidays, on vacations, and any opportunity she had to sing and entertain. She would sing in both English and Spanish and knew at a young age, that she had a passion for being on camera. This blossomed into a modeling career as a teenager, which led to a contract in Japan at the age of 17. By the age of 18, Marcella was given opportunities to work in film and TV and booked several national commercials.

After having her daughter Sophia in 2003, Marcella took a break to spend time with her daughter. Then, after being discovered on Facebook by a producer, when Sophia was older, Marcella was encouraged to continue pursuing her dreams in entertainment. After studying Meisner at the Joanne Baron Studio in Santa Monica, and meeting her wonderful agent and manager, Marcella found herself, once again, in front of the camera doing what she loved. She worked as the supporting actress on several features and shorts, The Violent World of Parker (2013), Time in Between (2016), Second Coming of Christ (2016). In 2015, Marcella landed the lead role opposite the love of her life, Vincent Rivera in the film, Insane. Her commercial with Today in LA, which aired during Super Bowl XLIX did so well, that the network picked it up for another year and it aired this past Superbowl (2016).

Marcella's relationship with actor and producer, Vincent Rivera, has been an inspirational journey on Marcella's path. While pursuing their own careers in the industry, and developing their own experiences, Marcella and Vincent started an acting school together in 2014. They wanted to create a safe place for other actors/artists to develop their craft on a personal and spiritual level. Marcella's outgoing and feisty personality and her desire to help others with their journey in life, has made her quite the force to be reckoned with.
