Jose B. Martinez

Jose Bernardo Alberto Martinez Loredo Jr. Was born in San Luis Potosí, México to Mother María Del Carmen Martinez Loredo pharmacy technician, Oak Park hospital, Father Alberto Monjaras Martinez supervisor to Klein Tools Inc. Jose B Martinez was raised in Chicago, IL for eighteen years. He attended East Leyden H.S. in Franklin Park, Il. After graduating in 1984. He worked for Chapel Sales incorporated as a door to door salesman for eight years, were I personally believed "I can be an actor." Upon chasing my dreams as an actor I moved to N.Y.C. in 1998 he played in an off off Broadway play called taxi, Taxi, equality of life directed by Crystal Fields. He has been married to Yolanda Torres Martinez since July 10, 2015.
He left N.Y.C. in 1999 because of the Millennium. He decided to head to L.A. to pursue his dream, with $700 in my pocket. I stumbled over this book in the village. Called "Back to One"; the Complete Movie Extra Guidebook. The Millennium Edition by Cullen Chamber. It showed me the tricks and skills on how to make a living on just doing background. My first background gig was CSI: NY (2005)
Since then he moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico after a good run in background acting in LA. He decided to go back to college at Central New Mexico Community College where he received his associate's degree in integrated studies in 2012 and successfully transferred to the University of New Mexico. He's just to semester's shy of getting his bachelor's degree in organizational communications. After taking a hiatus he decided to go back to acting. Since the hiatus he has made a comeback, he was recognized for his ENDWI PSA local commercial. He just finished the first season of the henchman in telenovela La Desgraciada. He also did a student film with director Stephen Montoya in Experiment in Cinema, and finished a sequel too Twilight in Cold Star directed by Meg McWhinney.
Now in 2016 he has been selected as one of the cast members of Hollywood House reality show which follows a group of actors, living under the same roof, as they navigate their personal and professional lives, and try to find success, fame or fortune in the jungle world know as Hollywood.
