As an aspiring feature film director, I bring a dynamic blend of technical expertise and creative storytelling to the director's chair. With roots in independent filmmaking via my older brother, I offer unique insights into both creative and commercial aspects of the entertainment industry.
My directorial portfolio includes the dramatic short "Moose" (Official Selection, Burbank International Film Festival 2015), the action-packed spec trailer "Destroy All Drones," and the innovative "Avenging Picnic" as a Doritos Spec Commercial. Before stepping into the director's role, I honed my craft as First Assistant Director on multiple productions, including the feature film "Thursday's Lovers" and several compelling short films.
Drawing inspiration from visionary filmmakers like Christopher Nolan, Judd Apatow, Darren Aronofsky, Edgar Wright, and Ridley Scott, I aim to craft stories that blend spectacle with substance. My narrative approach, shaped by a lifelong passion for comics, graphic novels, and anime, brings a fresh perspective to genre filmmaking. A transformative childhood experience on the set of "Stuart Little" ignited my passion for creating movie magic, leading to a career dedicated to transporting audiences beyond their daily reality.
Specializing in comedy, adventure, action, fantasy, and thriller genres, I love to explore the universal themes of heroism, internal conflict, and the triumph of love through a contemporary lens. With almost a decade of experience in independent film, combined with my current role in studio marketing, I have cultivated a comprehensive understanding of both the creative and business aspects of filmmaking.
My goal is to create immersive cinematic experiences that not only entertain but inspire audiences to envision better versions of themselves and their world.
