- Iris performed for the first time with a children's choir during Celine Dion's 'Let's Talk about Love' Tour in 1998. She performed in local theater productions while growing up in North Carolina, was one of seven high school students selected to participate in The Stella Adler Studio of Acting summer program, spent two summers at The New York Film Academy - Hollywood High School Acting program and attended Young Actor's Space all before going to college. After high school she moved to San Francisco so that she could attend the Academy of Art University. She completed her B.F.A in Film and Television, she is a graduate of the Meisner Technique Studio where she was taught by Sanford Meisner's last teaching Protégé, and additionally performed in local theater around the Bay Area.
