Biography

I am a northern actress living in Nottinghamshire. My career has been long and varied. I attended The Bridge Theatre Training Company on a 2 year professional acting course in 1998. I have acted professionally on and off since then. I feel it is important to constantly train and hone the craft of acting. I have experience in film, television and in the theatre, as well as corporate, role play and improvisation. Before pursuing my acting career, I was a medic in the Royal Navy. As a jobbing actress I have had many jobs such as driving instructor, waitress barmaid and in retail, I had a career break when I became a mum of two and after this I trained at university to become a qualified registered Nurse, all these roles have given me valuable experience to bring any character to life in a realistic way. I am always looking for interesting role and opportunities and I am ready and raring to go with the same passion and optimism as I had 20 years ago.
