Biography

Dustin Romero was born in Long Island, New York and raised in South Florida. Growing up, he had a passion for movies and illustrating, which brought him to the University of Miami. There he earned degrees in film and studio art. After working in non-scripted programming for a few years, he received an MFA from UCLA's animation program where two of his student films were chosen to receive the Matt Groening Fellowship in Animation. He was also the first graduate student selected to intern at Cartoon Network Studios. Not long after earning his degree from UCLA, Dustin joined The Simpsons as a Character Layout Artist.
