Lourenço Ortigão was born on August 9, 1989 in Lisbon, Portugal. He is an actor, known for A Única Mulher (2015), Linhas de Sangue (2018) and Cândido (2024).

Third son of Amílcar Nuno Ramalho Ortigão da Silva Pinto (b. São Sebastião da Pedreira, Lisbon, 14 May 1957), Licenciate in Civil Engineering from the Instituto Superior Técnico of the Universidade Técnica de Lisboa, and wife (m. São Sebastião da Pedreira, Lisbon, 9 September 1983) Maria Carolina de Sousa Machado Osório de Aragão (b. Beira, Mozambique, 29 May 1963), social columnist.

Younger brother of Duarte Nuno Osório de Aragão Ortigão Pinto (b. Lisbon, 10 August 1984) and Tomás Maria Osório de Aragão Ortigão Pinto (b. Lisbon, 30 October 1985).

Great-great-great-grandson of the 2nd Viscount of Vila Garcia, great-great-great-grandnephew of the 2nd Viscount Consort of Bouça and great-great-great-great-grandson of the 4th Viscount of Montalegre Nobleman of Coat of Arms of Bacelar (crest), Pinto and de Morais with crown of Viscount.

Is a three times descendant of Diogo Cão and of the sister of Fernão de Magalhães aka Ferdinand Magellan.
