Biography

Junior Pope Odonwodo was born on May 7, 1984 in Bamenda, Cameroon. He was an actor, known for Wrong Initiation (2018), 1951 (2021) and Eye of the Eagle (2013). He was married to Jennifer Awele Okpuno. He died on April 10, 2024 in Asaba, Delta State, Nigeria.

Pope was on his way to shoot a movie when his boat capsized in the River Niger in Asaba, Delta state. He died with other three crew members.

Graduated from the University of Nigeria with a degree in accounting.

After completing his studies in Accounting, he wanted to become an accountant but pursued a career in film acting in 2004 and initially featured in lesser roles.

Pope was a Nigerian actor and film producer.

On 26 July 2014, Pope married Jennifer Awele Okpuno; whom he had met through social media site, Facebook.
