Biography

Brandon grew up in a small suburb of Illinois, near Chicago. Brandon Wyse came from an uncommon background. Trying to find himself after losing both parents by age 12, Brandon found himself lost in gang life, drugs, and prison. He constantly was searching to be someone and find his own identity. Because of his life, and experiences, he is able to write a compelling story.

Brandon decided to change his life to purpose driven, and in 2007 to become a writer. In 2008, he published his first novel, titled, "God's Playing Chess." Most who read the novel stated he should turn the novel into a screenplay, and although at the time not yet knowledgeable in the art of screenwriting, he successfully received high honors in winning a screenplay award in Santa Fe, NM in 2008.

In his relatively short career, he has garnered several options. He has written screenplays for Ron Perlman, Ving Rhames, & other known celebrities. He adapted Poland's Bestselling children's novel into a screenplay, has several options with various companies, and several in various stages of production.

Brandon has nurtured his writing style to conform to all genres. From horror, comedy, bi optics and crime drama, to children's and faith-based scripts. He can successfully write them all. He sees this as a gift from His Father above, and gives Him ALL the glory.

Brandon grew up in Chicago, was orphaned at a young age and then shuffled around from relative to relative. He got into trouble on the streets and subsequently spent several years of his youth in and out of the Illinois State Prison System, all of which gave him a unique perspective on human behavior. Brandon knew he was destined for a better life and in an effort to get away from his past, turned to his intellect and passion for "story telling." This sets Brandon apart from the crowd is his ability to create uniquely interesting stories and characters, and to weave those characters throughout the story in unpredictable ways with unexpected twists. His journey in life has enabled him to do this with the myriad of quirky and dark persons he has met along the way. Five years ago, He came to Hollywood to write screenplays. Brandon read voraciously and his research skills are phenomenal. Today, he is a professional Screenwriter, with a deep knowledge of the Art of Screenwriting. Brandon has multiple screenplays in a variety of popular genres. He currently has five scripts optioned. to Producers who are negotiating funding at the present. Aug 2014
