Maika Hara is a Japanese actor based in Tokyo and Toronto. She began her acting career in 2006, making her screen debut in Switching - Goodbye Me, directed by legendary Japanese filmmaker Nobuhiko Obayashi.
She has appeared in over 50 films and television productions. Most recently, she has been working on several international projects, including a lead role and a significant supporting role in a large-scale series filmed across multiple countries.
In addition to acting, she has studied traditional Japanese kimono dressing.
