Joel Maguire is an Australian actor who grew up on the Northern Beaches of Sydney, NSW. He was raised by a Chinese mother and an Australian father of Irish descent, and grew up with a keen interest in performance and film. Maguire later moved to Canada to pursue film and TV more seriously and resides in Vancouver.
He began his career in smaller Australian TV series and commercials, gradually refining his craft across a range of genres. His earlier screen credits include presenting on Disney Channel AU/NZ on their flagship show, Hanging With, comedy mini-series The Young and The Hopeless and Netflix series Heartbreak High.
